Hadn't visited for over 15 years ,but it was wonderful.
On a really hot day , it was inviting and staff friendly. Cool drink to enjoy outside, very tasty lunch and well priced , I had a Pork belly salad $22.00 , lots of pork and very tasty salad with just the right amount of zing, we also had the special Mexican stuffed potato $18.00 , great size meal , tasty and with all the right sides.
Lovely old pub with lots of history.
We will be back sooner this time.

A quintessential old fashioned pub. I fly into Fraser Island on business and love visiting when I’m in town. The food is great and the blonde waitress, Natalie, is the absolute best. Next time I deliver my herd of goats (ever see them kick a kangaroo?) I’ll for sure stop by for a Guinness.
Lovely location, unfortunately the staff is letting it down. Very rude lady ordering us around for no reason in a very disrespectful way. We quickly finished our drink - which didn't take long as it was a $10 glass of ice with a splash of drink - and left. Just wanted to catch up with friends and enjoy a lovely day out. It was made clear that that's not the location for that. Not interested in going back.

Had function here on Sunday January 21st '24 at this pub, hadn't been here for over 10 years! plenty of parking and was greeted by some good blues music, large crowd of patrons enjoying Sunday music and lunch, fitted our crowd of about 20 in no problem, menu was great with plenty of options, well worth a visit.
My partner and I rode here on our road bikes. Good ride good roads great food and cold drinks. The atmosphere was great and relaxing
Quaint little pub with great atmosphere. Plenty of grass for the kids to run around on with seating nearby to keep an eye on them, take activities to keep them occupied if running around isn't enough :) Quick walk from Boreen Point Campgrounds.
The first classic Aussie pub I’ve found a quality Guinness on tap and a very yummy Roo Burger. Showed up with 15 friends and welcomed warmly, served in 10 minutes, and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and of course, the Guinness!
I will definitely be driving the 1.2 hours to come back with the family!!
Great family atmosphere, tasty pub meals, chilled atmosphere, accommodation clean amd tidy and affordable. The bathrooms are out the back in a separate little out building with covered walkways and communal kitchen. Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it. 10min walk to the lake cafe for breakfast!
